3  day lillies with 3 shasta daisies, lavender and drumsticks reused from other arrangements.

God works by the light of His truth. This truth lights every man that comes into the world. The scriptures refer to the works of God as they are revealed in this world.

The mind of a person must see the truth, and the will bend to its claims.

And be not conformed to this world: but he transformed by the (reuse) renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:2
Orange and purple lights together will give light pink. A sunset I guess.
All this for the joy of one day!

The purpose -where I start- is the idea of use.  It is not recycling, it’s reuse.

I wish the day lilies could just be shaken open again like a pleated Issey Miyako dress/skirt/trousers. (I have never seen one of these garments but the colours look vibrant and you probably need to be as slim as a pin to wear them!)
For the joy of a week to ten days once cut and in water.

“Creation always involves building upon something else. There is no art that doesn’t reuse.  And there will be less art if every reuse is taxed by the appropriator. “

  2. Such a lovely arrangement. Do you remember those gorgeous day lilies that grew under your bedroom window in Bulawayo? Those flowers always take me back there. Love you sis.
