Shasta daisy and thorny Japanese barberry.

Then Job answered the Lord, (someone he had a relationship with) and said, “I know you can do everything, and not a single thought I think can be hidden from you.” (Job 42:1,2) ….then when Job prayed for His friends the Lord gave Job back double. (Job 42 : 10)

The story of Job.
His loss and faithfulness. His God was his Lord too. Relationship is so important.
This time last year this green and carefully outlined in red Berberis shrub (Japanese barberry) was covered in caterpillars. This year it is thriving inspite of its struggle. It is growing by the bird bath and provides red berries well into the winter for the birds.
The shasta daisies are starting to bloom some are struggling to open. I really don’t know why.

The struggle you are in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow.

I am sorry I don’t know who said this. But it is really helpful.

To have striven, to have made the effort, to have been true to certain ideals – this alone is worth the struggle.
