The Tutsan  flower blooms in late June. The leaves are arranged opposite each other and clasp the stem (sessile). They are oval or oblong and hairless (glabrous).  The leaves smell of curry when they are crushed.  The berries are toxic.

All the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today.
