A Sabbath 5 mile circular walk at Chaddleworth

It was sunny as we talked and walked with our group today.

A closed gate in the shade…
…past an old English church…
… beside fields.
Notice the detail of a hare on the thatched roof…
and a pink cottage.
Then road side daisies and some for home.
It was a lot of up hill walking but chatting in all the green and warmth of a sunny summer’s day, made one wonder where the time had gone.

The daisy by the shadow that it casts,

Protects the lingering dewdrop from the sun.
