Stage 2 Travel through France: Morning colour along the Loire with 2 hours in Nevers 350 miles today.

Children, how hard is it for them that trust in their riches to enter into the kingdom of God!  It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle ( a small gate in the wall of Jerusalem) , than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Mark 10:24,25

A rich man, as such, cannot enter heaven. His wealth gives him no title to the inheritance of the saints in light.  It is only through the unmerited grace of Christ that any man can find entrance into the city of God. EG White

Morning colour along the Loire. There…
… and back with Bess.

We then travelled on and spent a short time in Nevers.  This monument was prominently placed in the main square.

A monument to the children who died in the First and Second World War. Let us remember…
… and so they have with flowers.
A house that once belonged to a poet.
Nevers’ poet Maitre Adam.
…and travelling on
Soon it will be time to stop. Stage 2 done 350 miles in one day with 2hours in Nevers.

Two things I saw that my camera couldn’t capture.  Firstly the gentle look the parents of three teenage daughters gave each other and secondly a person kneeling on a board carefully placing seeds in a furrow of their vegetable garden.  May both love and the seeds mixed with faith germinate.
