Four plants with silver foliage in the winter garden.

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting Gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue and people, saying with a loud voice Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgement is come and worship Him that made heaven , and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of water.

Rev 14:6
Well, this is what I was told by the seller of this jug in the Montsoreau market: “The vessel has mark. It is for wine to go in, on the table, in the cafe, in the 1920s. It is
€ 15 for you €13.”
Me : “Thank you 😊 It is so beautiful!😍I will have it! “
The fingers of pale variegated green colour roll down from the spout like a messy pourer. The solid green base firm in its support of such frolic.
Four plants with silver foliage in the December garden. Lamb’s-ear in winter, a little worse for wear showing its limp brown leaves. Lavender and curry plant with dusty miller / silver ragwort are still showing no signs of winter change.
Lamb’s ear with cold drops of winter rain caught in its leaf hair, mimicking the shape of the jugs pattern.
Here on the dusty miller leaf the white fluff has gone smooth and the bright green shines through. Notice how on the pattern of the jug the dark green shines through the pale top colour.

To give glory to God is to reveal His character in our own, and thereby make Him known. And in whatever way we make known the Father or the Son, we glorify God.
