Some of those summer flowers !

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed , yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken.”

Says the Lord.

Isaiah 54 : 10
A jug of 7 Zinnia and one fallen out. All grown from seed but still having form. 3 Hydrangea heads now dry and as colourful as before. Hops as dry and creamy as tissue paper. And last of all Sedum dried. I thought it would be too fleshy but it has small well formed individual flowers.
Three small orange Zinnia one is a puffed up one that I watched grow with intrigue. Then there are the hop flowers picked green while sprawling over a road side plant. Lastly Sedum bought as a small healthy plant from Cambridge Botanical garden and red hydrangea from a garden I know well.
The three strong zinnia shaped by time and care, together with delicate ruby sedum and a “red” hydrangea
Snug in a jug.
Now in the cold of December 2021 the green jug made by the Potter Ruth, with 17 ruth written underneath, holds flowers from the past year as well as memories! That is what it is all about. ❤
The jug was last used in the summer of 2021 I picked these flowers after heavy rain the night before. These far from perfect daisies are beautiful as is the jug.

Love is something more stern and splendid than mere kindness.

  1. Two beautiful arrangements; one vase. Proof that one doesn’t have to be young or perfect to be gorgeous🥰. Good lesson there.
One of my favourite Bible verses too.
