Day 24 France: Travel to Clermont- Ferrand and then the City of Moulin and Cathedral. Night on a farm Aire 250 miles from Calais.

To Sandy…
Leaving our Aire at 9:10 am. The autumn gold all around.
The mists forming ahead we are now at 1107m after being at the Mediterranean yesterday it is bright but really cold.
We were soon in it.
Harvest still to take place.
Roadside trees well shaped as the French like them and with pleasing colour changes some still green.

The City of Moulin

Bess barked all of a sudden and her echo reverberated. Very few churches have both doors open to the street and she saw where we were taking turns to go.
This was where the echo grew.
The last supper in 15th Century stained glass in Moulin Cathedral.

What draws your eyes is a painting of the birth of Christ.

The sun is setting as we reach our Aire for the night.There are large numbers of electricity pylons. A free stay by a farmers wall!

  2. Autumn beauty. What a fab trip. Love stained glass and those paintings too. Wish there was more of that kind of thing around here. So glad you’ve had a wonderful trip and I’ve SO enjoyed doing it with you. Love you sis.
