Faith is the vision of the heart; it sees God in the dark as well as in the day.

Just Corn
There is nothing just about it
The blister,the milk, the dough.
That is only the kernels.
Tassels of Creamy beige little grains threaded together opening, opening
Silks from straight and clear changing, changing to curly brown
Leaves of deep green growing, growing to architectural glory
Curving up and down to catch the sun.
Stalks, straight to the sky keeping everything happening, happening:
from tassels dropping pollen to Silks catching, to kernels in the cobs fattening, fattening
Roots the hidden bits
Carrying, carrying
Water and nutrients from the soil
All to provide an ear of corn.
Respect! A BIG NO to
JUST corn. This is ALL corn.
Sandy

We fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4: 18
Just corn; all corn. A miracle. Love your poem and arrangement. Lunch tomorrow😁
