We walked from this spot to Moreton where he is buried in the church yard and then back to this parking area
This marks the end of Lawrence of Arabia’s life at the age of 55. He had a motorbike accident while trying to avoid two cyclists unfortunately he wasn’t wearing a helmet. It was his death that sparked the need for all motor cyclists to wear helmits.

For everything there is a season, A time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest.

  1. That simple life is what I want😊. I suppose it’s what I have – I just need to do something to make me famous now😂😂. Interesting facts.

    1. I didn’t say how much he hated being famous. He changed his name twice. A journalist after the war decided people needed a hero so wrote up about his escapades which were considerable with the Arabs. This lead to the press hounding him. That is why he bought Cloud Cottage. Interesting! He was one of 4 other sons born illigetimately to Sarah the Governess to 3 daughters. There is so much more to this story. Thanks for reading.
