This is Ivy growing on a 6 foot fence in our garden. Ivy can grow 9 feet a year. According to NASA’s Clean Air Study, English Ivy is effective at cleansing benzene, formaldehyde and toluene from the air.Wilson’s Honeysuckle (Lonicera nitida) It is very dense and used as a hardy plant to grow beside roads. Dill. This plant will start dying back as it starts to produce seeds but will be back next year.Bess looking more closely at the Coralbells. She is my shadow.3 Cosmos and 2 Roses from the garden joined the party this morning.The vase has no markings but rather a nice raised cone visible when standing on three little feet. It was given to me by, Dorothy, my mother-in-law in our early years of marriage. She said she had got it at a bric- a-brac stall.

Interesting about the ivy! I did not like them because they grow so vigorously and take over easily, but they do so much good. I shall respect them more now 🧐😀
Yes I find pulling Ivy out where it shouldn’t be difficult but yes it is good. Thinking about Dorothy I do remember how careful she was to keep the peace in every way.
