the wrinkles on a new courgette leaf, the apple blossoms among the branches above my head, the green and black fly on the pear tree, the paint on my brush… There is nothing like ” trying to know ” to show one how far above your head something is. There is nothing like me trying to paint to make me appreciate how beauty defies the smallness of my perception. Oh, wouldn’t it be wonderful not to reproduce it but hold it in ones mind in all its delicate complexity. How?You tell me…

The wrinkles on a courgette leaf.

The blossom amongst the branches far above your head.

The black fly and green fly on the pear tree leaves that make them curl with sticky residue.

The paint that smears and moves and tries to capture!
Oh, wouldn’t it be wonderful not to reproduce it but hold it in in one’s mind.
How?
For me it will one day be a place with God where we will know as He knows us.
Why?
God speaking: My Word won’t be cancelled, it will skillfully and successfully complete its mission which I intended it for, and it will thrive in the things I sent it to do.
Isaiah 55:11
There are words of life in the Bible for now and eternity.
Jesus speaking: For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know the truth that I am from you; and they have believed that you sent me.
John 17:8
David says to God: May I have a situation which directly results in an experience of Your loving kindness in the morning because I trust You and I know you can make me know the way I should walk. ( Sandy’s way of reading it.)
Here is how it is:
‘ Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift my soul unto you.’
Psalm 143: 8
The morning sun on green Wysteria leaves, the plant that has never flowered and a branch of tortured willow all in spring yellow green.

Here is a quote from Martin Luther.
For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made with silver or gold.
It is another warm blue sky day here.
Take care,
Sandy 🙂
