Stop to…

pray

Here are some reasons to kneel to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ:

To request that He give you from the riches of His glory inner strength and spiritual endurance.

That Christ may be in your hearts by faith and that you will have roots like a plant grounded in love.

That you understand the infinite four dimensional nature of God’s love.

And know the love of Christ that is beyond knowledge that you may be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do far more than you ever ask or think and according to the power that works in us be glory world without end.

Amen

( Sandy’s wording of Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3: 14-21)

look more closely

The white violets are open on the verge down the lane. The deep purple, blue-violet/violet-blue ones in the garden aren’t out yet. Their five white petals turn to the sun, their heart shaped leaves a mat.

Then further on looking through the diamonds of a wire fence one can see a ‘ host of daffodils’ and near this waving view are the plum trees all covered in blossom white.

But not all is beautiful in life: there is the hollowed tree for safety reasons that has been felled and the daffodil that lies on the road.

But the catkins above it on the grey willow feed bees emerging in early spring.

Stop to look at spring 2026.

‘ The standard you walk past is the standard you accept.’

Take care,

Sandy 🙂

Here are the photographs I took for these thoughts:

Viola alba, is a species of violet in the family violaceae. They appear in woods and meadows.

The mist of morning with the yellow of sun growing out the ground.

The trees that had yellow, round plums under them in September are now covered in fine white blossom.

The hollow tree now safely felled.

Sadly fallen.

Grey willow. A tree that colonises swampy terrain. This one with emerging catkins providing for early bees.

Thank you for stopping a while.

  1. Many of our life paths and spiritual journeys are just that, aren’t they? Walking this world, noticing the beauty, observing lessons from nature, reflecting on life with God and our loved ones… Thank you again, Sandy.
