We have travelled from Portugal through Spain and France and here are four photographs that show our Earth as dominant to sky in the space taken in the photograph. I have then chosen four Bible verses showing God’s feelings about the EARTH. The strongest one is taken from the book of Revelation as well as one from Job. Early Jewish tradition although not unanimously, say that Moses wrote the book Job, it is a fascinating line of thought as the setting for the book is that of the Arabian desert. Then the last words from the Bible are few, they are words from the Lord’s prayer.
The first text is from poetry written by David : ‘The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.’ Psalm 24 :1

‘ I know that my Redeemer lives, and that He will stand on the earth.’ Job 19:25

‘ And the nations were angry, and Your wrath was come,…and You should destroy those who destroy the Earth.’ Revelations 12: 18 ( A small part read it all if you like.)

‘ …Your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.’ Matthew 6:10
I found it hard to find photographs where earth was dominant. I clearly appreciate the sky.

Our Earth.
‘ Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in. Aim for earth and you get neither.’ C. S. Lewis.
Take care,
Sandy 🙂
