Paul says this in his prayer to God for the people living in Colossae:
‘I pray that you are filled with the knowledge of God’s will. This will has wisdom and spiritual understanding. This is evident in the way you live your life which (like a tree) is fruitful in doing good things and you increasing in the knowledge of God. This strengthens you with God’s power which makes for patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.’ (Sandy’s understanding. Make it your own. Colossians 1: 9-11)
This post will consist of six photographs. Three of tide lines and three of the tide leaving temporary marks as water leaves the sands.
What looks like salt deposits as water dries around a crevice. There are other materials left behind as this evaporation takes place.
The fine, delicate lines of sand contoured around a rock as the water leaves. Notice the smaller stone has made its own contour on the left. Fine lines and shadows.
Fine lines on a slightly softer surface. Intricate contours on a tidal area at lower low tide. Delicate detail.
Now for the ‘trees’ at the sea. I was watching a water colour painting tutorial and this is what the lady said: ‘Turn the painting upside down and pull the branches of the tree you are painting. The brush will move more naturally towards you to make them …’
I then was walking by the sea and noticed these.
How lovely are the trees at the sea. Their branches or trunks, each made by water returning to where it came from along its own path.
I will paint one some time and turn it green just for fun.
