Broken bits of cliff

From nature’s bountiful broken pieces

We make our buildings,

Our nature, of our making.

Inspired by nature’s design.

So upon the sands

He built his cliff from pieces of the cliff

For the sea to eat away

Just as our edifices are created/piled/established for use

And then for time to eat away

Like confidence by repeated disappointment!

‘ When you see something very beautiful that’s real, like a flower, it seems fake. And when you see a beautiful flower by an artist, it seems real…’ Alice Rohrwacher (Italian film director, editor and screenwriter. In 2026 she will receive the European Film Academy Achievement in World Cinema Award.)

Here is a thought about God from David of the Old Testament:

‘ I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are Your works, and this my soul knows well.’

Psalm 139:14

Paul speaks like this in the New Testament:

‘ For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good things which God intended us to do.’

Ephesians 2:10.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂 We had some sun to end our day here in the Algarve.
