This post has three paintings I did after putting away my phone. They were painted over about 10 days as the flowers changed.
Religion is very much a part of how I think so I want to travel with books and life’s record as seen by Daniel, John, Jesus and lastly Malachi. Let us hear what they say:
Jesus speaking: ‘ But I say to you, that every idle word that people speak, they will give an account of in the day of judgement. By your words, will you be judged and by your words condemned.’
Matthew 12: 36,37

‘The books were opened.’ When Daniel?
‘ I saw thrones placed and One the Ancient of Days sat: His clothes were white and His head too: His throne was fiery flames and the wheels were burning. Fire went before Him. Thousand thousands were ministering to Him and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: the judgement was set and the books were opened.’

Now Jesus speaking: ‘People who overcome will wear white, and I will not take their names out of the book of life, but I will openly acknowledge their name before the Father, and before the angels.’ Rev 3:5 and then
Matthew 10: 32,33 ‘ Whoever openly acknowledges Me before people I will also acknowledge before my Father.’
Malachi then writes in the last book of the Old Testament about 400 years before Jesus:
‘ Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another and the LORD listened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the LORD, and thought about His name. And they will be mine, says the LORD of hosts in that day when I make up my jewels and I will spare them as a father his son but…’ Malachi 3: 16, 17 (18 is a strong warning!)

I enjoyed the paint moving on the stiff brush and the shapes it took.
Here is a paragraph about a different type of photography. I found it futuristic:
” As the features of the face are reproduced by the photographer and the artist, so the character is faithfully delineated in the books above… if we could see the invisible world we the people of Earth could see angels making and keeping these records… Whatever is done from love, however small it may appear in the estimation of people, is accepted and rewarded by God.”

Some thoughts about books:
‘ Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.’ Thomas Jefferson
‘ Hold fast to the Bible. To the influence of this Book we are indebted for all the progress made in true civilisation and to this we must look as our guide in the future.’ Ulyssess Grant
‘ The images from the book you make in your head are always going to be the best images.’
Rick Riordan
Take care,
