What are the others? Calendulas in flower, in seed, and in buds, foxgloves but only their seed cases. Then these sunflowers need an explanation. I grew single-stem sunflowers but they grew side flowers and these are in the vase. It is quite normal for this to happen. They may have been cross-pollinated with a branching variety at some time before this seed was made or the single-stem variety became stressed. These small flowers can be taken off if you want to keep a single-stem plant.
Now from Moses to the Beatitudes.
Moses is speaking to God and this is what he says:
” I beg you show me your glory!”
God answers Moses:
” I will make all my goodness pass before you
I will proclaim/ announce the name of the LORD before you
I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious
I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy
But
You cannot see my face. Any person who sees my face will die!”
And then God continues to tell Moses how He is going to let him see Him/ God.
God speaking: ” There is a place by me and you will stand on a rock and while my glory passes by I will put you in a narrow notch/split/crack in the rock and cover you with my hand. And I will take away my hand and you will see my back but not my face.”
And Moses saw what God would allow him to see. Now what about this?
” Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness; for they shall be filled.”
When our hearts hunger for God because we feel unworthy our desire will not be disappointed.
” All of us who long to bear the likeness of the character of God will be satisfied. The Holy Spirit always helps (never leaves without help) a person who is looking to Jesus. The Holy Spirit takes the things of Christ and shows them to the person.” E G White
We will one day see Jesus.
