Wisley in the sunshine

Here are a few challenging thoughts. It is the voice of John:  ‘You have heard this from the beginning, that we should love the other person. Remember Cain, the wicked one who killed his brother. Why? Because his own works were wicked and his brother’s righteous…those who don’t love other people abide/ stay in death. We understand the love of God, because He died for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for other people.’ 1 John 3:11-16

Really? How so?

‘ Let us love in our actions. Give from what you have to those badly treated by life… ‘

1John 3: 17,18

Sandy’s wording. Read it. This is challenging for me.

Today it is raining. A soaking constant, consistent heavy rain. No con-artist rain.

Yesterday it rained a little with the sun out most of the time. Here are photographs that caught a little sun.

First in the World Vegetable Garden:

Then in some scenes of the gardens:

And lastly, leaves with shadow and raindrops on a rose to show it was sunny and raining at the same time.

‘Truth, like the sun, submits to be obscured; but like the sun, only for a time.’
Christian Nestalk Bovee
‘ Yesternight the sun went hence, And yet is here today.’
John Donne

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
