Five individual flowers:

‘ Arise and shine, for your light has come,’

‘ and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.’

‘Arise’ an imperative ‘ MOVE’

You are called to be a source of light. ‘ The glory of the Lord rises upon you.’ These words are from Isaiah 60:1.
The five sunflowers in our garden the last is going to seed. It is hard to believe that they were seeds I planted a few weeks before we left. Another sixty day change.

Happy day sunflowers,
Sandy 🙂
The last words from Helen Mirren
” I don’t think there’s anything on this planet that more trumpets life than the sunflower. For me that’s because of the reason behind its name. Not because it looks like the sun. During the course of the day, the head tracks the journey of the sun across the sky. A satellite dish for sunshine. Wherever light is; no matter how weak, these flowers will find it. And that’s such an admirable thing. And such a lesson in life.”
Lovely photos and reflections on our need to shine like the sunflowers. Do they perk up once the sun comes out? 😁❤️
I’ll have a look before it is light. 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you, Anneta. The sunflower is a cheery sort!
They reorientate themselves to face east. I learn a new fact most days. Thank you for the question. I will watch for this now. Curious Anneta!
Wonderful!! I love sunflowers! 🌻
