Sabbath walk Pewley Down

‘ There is no shadow of turning with God. God is faithful, the Father of lights.’

A little poetry from James 1: 17.

The chosen paths, roads take in part of the North Down way and includes the Pilgrim church of Saint Martha.

Leaves frame scenes and gives shaped shadow along the way.

Framed views over pasture land…
…crop fields.

Let’s travel with sunshine. Here are three. Choose the one you need…

‘ Do not anticipate trouble or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.’ Benjamin Franklin

‘ If you spend your whole life waiting for the storm , you’ll never enjoy the sunshine.’ Morris West

‘Some people are making such thorough  preparation for rainy days that they aren’t enjoying today’s sunshine.’ William Feather

After walking steeply uphill, the views from a bench outside this church are far, green, and layered a place to catch your breath and lose it again at what you see.

A beautiful day!

Take care,

Sandy 🙂

Ps

Roy and I started off with our friends feeling exhausted, but after four and half miles, we both agreed that we felt so much better. Our beautiful world. Medicine.
