A jug of edibles except for one.

John 7:37

Jesus speaking: ‘ If anyone is thirsty, let them come to me, and drink.’

Jesus goes on to say the water is the Holy Spirit…

Thank you for the blessing of the Holy Spirit in the lives of those who care for us, and we, in turn, care for. May this water of life be part of all of us. Sandy

Borage, dandelion,  wild garlic,
and green alkenet with small blue flowers
in a clear jug of water.

The garden  this morning had a surprise and some good ingredients for a salad.

The leaves of the wild garlic, dandelion, and borage are good in a salad when picked new and fresh. The white flowers of borage and wild garlic are also good to eat and decorate with.

The jug also holds a green alkenet plant used to make a red dye.

Now for the surprise. The apple tree pollarded three years ago , or is it four, has blossoms. Last year, I thought I had seen a few, but they were new leaves. This year, they are for real.

A photograph this morning.

Let us travel with the word water.

‘ Water and air, the two essential fluids on which all life depends, have become global garbage cans.’

Jacques Yves Cousteau

‘ Water is the driving force of all nature.’

Leonardo da Vinci

And a joke:

‘ I bought some instant water one time, but I didn’t know what to add to it.’

Steven Wright

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
