Oak trees (their crowns)

The earth was void, a completely empty space, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Verse 2

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Verse 1

This is how the Bible starts. Empty with God.

The crown of an oak in the meadow.
What is empty?
In the garden:
Is it where the dandelions , goosegrass, and bindweed grow?
In a tree:
Is it where the grey or blue and white show through?
In a painting:
Is it where it is  difficult not to paint?
I have just tried!

I have also tried to Make time Ever. If I could I think it would be empty.

Once the eye has travelled up the trunk and it has been left below, the divisions increase to infinite numbers of branches and twigs until the spring blue skies are shattered.

Here is what Shakespeare,  Homer and Antonia Porchia have said about empty:

‘Hell is empty and all the devil’s are here.’

‘ Words empty as the wind are best unsaid.’

‘ In a full heart there is room for everything, and in an empty heart there is room for nothing.’

The full  sized tree with trunk, braches and twigs.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
