Here is a short dramatic story from the Bible:
Where it happened and what was said.
Jesus straight away on the Sabbath day walked into the synagogue and taught… and sitting there was a person with an unclean spirit and this is what they shouted:
‘ Let us alone, what have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Are you here to destroy us? I know You, You are the Holy One of God!’
Jesus speaking: ‘ Hold your peace, and come out of him!’
The unclean spirit tore the person, and cried with a loud voice and came out of them…
Jesus became famous…
and the city gathered at the door where he was… and he cast out many devils and told the devil’s not to speak because they new Him ( Jesus ).
Mark 2: 21,23,24,25,28,34 ( Sandy’s understanding .Please note that I know all to well that depression and mental illness of any kind is not demon possession. )
Our garden is slowly adding more in colour. Last Monday the grape hyacinths were too small to add to the arrangement but today I added them to the pink hyacinth , stinking hellebore and tortured willow. This is the result.

Add to…
We are here to add what we can to life, not to get what we can from life.’ William Osler

Notice the aging of the hellebore, more bowed as well as the humble hyacinth.
I enjoyed time thinking and painting.
Here are two more quotes I travelled with from the words add to…
‘ To add value to others , one must first value others.’
John C. Maxwell
And
‘ If thou wilt make a person happy, add not unto their riches but take away from their desires.’
Epicurus
I hope you have a happy Monday. If you have been hurt or are unwell that you are feeling a bit better.
Take care,
Sandy š
Just love your little arrangement in the white pitcher. It’s just waiting for you to paint it, Sandy!!!
Ah, I did try it isn’t very bright it should look more turquoise but the idea is the flowers on the right have been there several days and the blue hyacinth on the left have just been added. The painting is more a story than a true depiction. Glad I could talk about it! Sandy
Lovely arrangement and your sweet little turtle!
Thank you Donna. The turtle is an ever a reminder of my Mum.
And my Grandmom with mine š„°
We really don’t share memories with these little turtles/ tortoises. š„°
Something changed it to don’t. Naughty.
I thought a typo, lol! My mind knew what you meant š„° Mine is looking at me on my desk shelf.
