A Sabbath walk near the horseshoe lake Finchampstead.

Clouds.

They are fluffy and surrounded in blue in every photograph. We walked briskly in the ice-cold air, our hands red if not in our pockets. No gloves in March!

Look above the finer branches a fluffy cloud.
A sunbeam on the budding green of a woven hedge.
Clouds white and gathered below a strip of blue skies.
Bent trunk in the water.
A cloud supported by a wooden pole fence.
All reflected in the cold blurred blue!
Looking out from the shadows, those greens that stay all winter long crown a hill,
and there at the top of one of them
in the middle is
a fluffy cloud.

It was a beautiful day to walk with a large group.

Roy and I are close to 70, and this was a verse I appreciated reading today. ” O God don’t leave; until I have shown Your strength to this generation…” Psalm 71:18. This whole Psalm  is one for those who have lived long, i.e., are old.  I made this verse and most of the Psalm my own today. I also read AI’s comments on it.

One advantage of this cold weather is that the daffidols will last longer.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
