There is frost on the grass and its March!

Isaiah speaking: ‘Who directs the Spirit of the Lord? Or being His counsellor has taught Him?’ One of many questions. Isaiah 40 :13…( this chapter continues with this comment: ‘ the nations are as a drop in the bucket…it gets interesting!)

The garden was frosted to day
It is March
I caught sight of the bulk of the apple tree in reflection
The mirror held the trunk or the sun held it there
It is March
Two centimetres or four of ice shaped by a cement saucer for the birds.
It is March
We cough and blow noses and complain of the phlegm in the throat caused by a cough right deep down in our lungs
Most of us have had it or have it
some poor victims since Christmas!

There is frost on the grass and its March!

The trunk of the apple tree is seen in an outside mirror.
The 11:54 am thick ice pushed to the lip of the saucer.

‘ It’s a strange world of language in which skating on thin ice can get you into hot water.’

‘In skating on thin ice our safety is in our speed.’

Raulph Waldo Emerson

The ice at 13.46.All thin, shaped and lined.

Let’s travel with the words

shape and mirror:

For a raptor WP photograper:

‘Eagles come in all shapes and sizes, but you will recognise them chiefly by their attitude.’

E.F.Schumacher

Is he talking about people or birds? I think your photographs show birds with attitudes.  Really special. Thank you for sharing them.

‘The marvelous thing about a good question is that it shapes our identity as much as by the asking as it does by the answer.’

David Myer

‘ Mirrors are ice which do not melt: what melts are those who admire themselves in them.’

Paul Morand 1888- 1976 French author whose stories were lauded for their style, wit and description. He also said: ‘ You can learn many things from children. How much patience you have for instance. ‘

and

‘ When you get something for nothing you just haven’t been billed for it yet!’

Then Earl Nightingale said:

‘ Our environment, the world in which we live and work, is a mirror of our attitudes and expectations.’

It is sunny today!

Take care,

Sandy 🙂
