Here is something that Paul wants to remind us of:
‘ I am persuaded,
that neither death,
nor life,
nor angels,
nor principalities,
nor powers,
nor things present,
nor things to come,
nor height,
nor depth,
nor any other creature,
shall separate us from the
love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Remember this and take care, as written by Paul in Romans 8: 38-39
Why do I write about these Sabbath walks? You don’t see the friends I am with. You don’t hear our chatter, sometimes sad ,sometimes wistful sometimes political. Who doesn’t exclaim about that!?
I want to remember these times, I am 69 in April. I’m married to the friend I met when I was 18 and we love each other very dearly.
These walks together will one day be memories for one of us, it is seldom two go together.
Secondly, I photograph and write to remember and be reminded that our world, our Earth, is a beautiful place!
Today, the gorse is out. Spot it in every photograph. You may spot a wedding too. As they say: ‘ When gorse is in season, kissing is in fashion.’
Enjoy what we saw today.

Take care,
Sandy 🙂
Thank you for inviting us on your special walk. Your reflection about the life you and your wife share and want to remember… is touching.
Thank you. It is wonderful to remember.
I seem to have had comments put in spam. I am so sorry I haven’t replied. There seems to be one comment about the tulip bulbs that hasn’t been approved again. Anyway, thank you for your kind words. I was surprised by all the little round bulbs with big leaves. I know you are new to us. I am Sandy, really Sandra and do all the writing, Roy is the one who proof reads, does the hard work in the garden and finds amazing places in great countries to visit. Maps are not my thing. We are retired but have a lot of fun. I hope to get to know you better. Sandy
Hi Sandra,
I’m sorry if I misunderstood who was writing. I love the writing relationship that you and your husband share. I haven’t heard of anyone else having this type of relationship except my adult daughter and myself. Although my blog is pretty much all my doing, all my published poems go through my daughter after I’ve written them. She is largely responsible for finding sources for publication, editing, and writing up cover letters. Conversely, I tend to be her sounding board and idea generator when she finds needful. We are a writing team. Thanks so much for clarifying and allowing me to know the two of you better…
Kimberly:)
Hi Kimberly
My writing isn’t published as such, but because I work from my phone, Roy tries to keep my mistakes manageable. Thank you for your kind reply.
Sandy.
I wrote from my phone too! But that’s not why my daughter edits.. she edits for me because that’s her skill set. Have a wonderful day:)
The reflecting pond is beautiful, so calm and peaceful.
Yes, it was quite a built-up area, but nature had some surprises. Thank you for commenting.
