Paul speaking from a Roman prison: “Jesus found in fashion like a man, humbled himself, and became obedient to death…God then exalted Him and gave Him a name which is above every name: that is at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, in earth, and under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:8-11 ( Sandy’s understanding, make it your own).
This is how I was thinking today…
It was cold today, and we walked. I asked the question, “How can I prove it is cold by what I see?” No frost, no snow, just grey. Then I looked at this bark peeling away, seeds gone, and a field of corn left for the birds. The bare, the empty, and the used. It is cold today.

When is it too cold?
I don't know, do you?
If the cold is such
That snow clings to form
How beautiful is that ?
When is it too cold?
At any temperature
If the heart in you has gone.
When is a house too big?
I don't know, do you?
If the rooms are such in colour and size to stimulate
What fun!
When is a house too big?
At any size
If the house is not a home.
When is the road too long?
I don't know, do you?
If the eye looks and sees the seasons change
The colours their shades and tints
How lovely!
When is the road too long?
At any time.
If the eye looks and doesn't see anything.
