On the beach ( Algarve)

Here is Paul talking:

” My family / my friends, if someone is proved to have done something wrong ( is at fault), help that person meekly remembering you could be tempted to make the same mistake. Help carry each others problems, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

But

Be not deceived ; God is not mocked: for whatever a person  sows that will they reap.

Sow to the flesh, then corruption.

Sow to the Spirit, life everlasting.

Galations 6: 1,3,7,8 ( Sandy’s choice of verses and understanding. )

We are walking on the same beach as where I saw the footprints in the evening. It is morning the tide is going out and people are coming onto the beach. Let us notice patterns and a lady collecting what is difficult to see.

Small islands forming
as the drainage of the sand returns water to the
sea
which still moves wave upon wave  but further away.
New morning low tide  beeches allow one to walk through arches…

We have been walking but the lady has been working. I ask what she has been searching for . She shows me and thinking to surprise her I look too. But no, I don’t find even one.

She says: ” Difficult, difficult.”

I agree and find a bigger one to give to her.

She says: ” No, no! “

We smile. I leave her head bowed, looking in the patterns of stones and shells.

We sit and talk the three of us, and then she comes over and places in my hand a precious gift of time.

The day is becoming warm, the sea is blue, the sky is blue, the sand is white, and I have a precious little, bit of it all.

Take care,
Sandy.
