Jesus speaking about His return: ‘ Do not be troubled you believe in God believe also in Me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it wasn’t so I wouldn’t be saying this.  I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go (and Jesus did go), I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you will be too.’ ( Thank you for telling us this ! We look forward to it!) John 14: 1-3

Soft but cold.
I saw two feet held with difficulty balanced in the air.

I never saw the person
Those gnarled,knobbled,knotty feet were bare
and someone whose feet I didn't see was dusting off the ridges of yellow sand
caught in cracks and crevices
Gently
The big toes bending inwards towards the progressively decreasing in size
Four others on each foot.
Sand flicked off
Right and left
Up and down.

Those feet on this cold but sunny day had felt
Softness and water disappearing through the grains
Sand they knew and loved
It was written on the left and right of those
Old cold two feet.

By
Sandy 🙂
Wet and dry
the draining of the sea.

Another set of feet I saw

Four or two sets

One bare one in trainers

It wasn’t them but what zig- zagged to them that interested me.

A path of together yet not.

Press on the photo to see their path.

Young and old on the beach today.

Take care,

Sandy 🙂

Ps

‘ What we know is to what we don’t know, as a grain of sand is to the beach.’ Ivan Panin

And

‘ The more sand that has escaped from the hourglass of our life, the clearer we should see through it.’ Niccolo Machiavelli

Here is a laugh at me. I get mixed up with homophones. This one bothered me today.

The Miriam Webster dictionary helped me.

When choosing between bear and bare consider that most uses of bear imply the presence of something, while bare suggests a removal or absence.

Bare feet bearing grains of sand!
