Rudbeckia and lavender

YOU, God will keep him in perfect peace whose mind  stays with You: because that person trusts you God. Isaiah 26:3

In the photograph, the Rudbeckia flowers in the middle are blooming now, and while we were away,
they had no extra water except for rain.
The Lavendar all over the garden grew well without us.
To the left of the photograph, the red gladioli bulbs planted before we left needed staking.
They should have had more care.

Looking at these colours, I wanted to see what they looked like together in a vase. Here they are:

Orange and purple mixed makes brown with a reddish tone to it.
So, what are the colours that complement purple?
Yellow,orange, and green.

Playing with the word spelt with an ‘i‘ here are three thoughts:

To be trusted is a greater compliment than being loved.

George Mac Donald

A compliment is something like a kiss through a veil.

Victor Hugo

The greatest compliment that was ever paid me was when one asked me what I thought and attended to my answer.

Henry David Thoreau

I want to pay a compliment with so many others who

would agree that it was lovely to hear

Celine Dionhttps://youtube.com/shorts/5dvE6sf6eFs?feature=shared singing at the opening ceremony of the Olympics and to say a big thank you to her for making us feel so loved through the use of her voice.

Have a happy Tuesday.

Sandy 🙂

Ps

I’m still having fun with paint. SMP.
