Goodbye Calais, Hello Dover

Religion

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and asking with thank you, let God know what you want. And the peace of God , which is not understood, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4: 6,7 ( I heard a  sermon from a Seventh-day Adventist speaker, Mark Finley: Rewire Your Brain Using the Bible. It was interesting.)

Travel

Calais.
The sun is out it is warm through that haze we see from the ferry.
The White Cliffs of Dover.

Our last ferry trip of many.

The main ferry trips are shown.
I lost count of the many we took in Norway.
They were like catching a bus.

One can only say a sincere thank you to all the countries that provide such a safe infrastructure for us all to enjoy their homelands, our Earth.

For this trip, I want to mention:

England, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Norway, France.

Home.

” He travels best that knows when to return.”

Here are some thoughts with the word return:

My great hope is to laugh as much as I cry, to get my work done and try to love somebody and have the courage to accept love in return.

Mayo Angelou

The fact that

I can plant a seed and it becomes a flower,

share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another’s,

smile at someone and receive a smile in return,

are to me continual spiritual exercise.

Leo Buscaglia

  1. Welcome back! So grateful that you had a brilliant time and safe journey all the way. Have a good rest x

    1. Thank you. God is good. I am grateful to be home safe.
We have lots to do in the garden. We have lost plants, I think, because of it being so wet. I have woken up early to see what we need to do.🙂🤗

  2. My favourite Bible verses. That Mark Finlay sermon is on YouTube – I listened to it there. You’ve made memories that you can enjoy for the rest of your lives. Glad you’re back safe.
    Love you, sis.
