And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea and fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
Genesis 1: 28 ( them – the first man and woman)
After visiting the islands of the High Coast, we found a registered car park for three campers near Kopmanholman. It was in front of the local ” wild swimming ” area, and local children were enjoying the water. The homes around this area were small holdings or country homes. Silence was deep through the night even though the sun was up.

In contrast was the city of Sundsvall. It is celebrating 400 years this year after being burnt down in 1880 and rebuilt in brick. It has some fine buildings with wide streets. Let’s look at a few :

Ah, and then a walk along the water front.

I want you to see the explanation

Come, you haven’t seen it all. This one, you can guess the story.

I hope the new day brings joy.
Take care,
Sandy 🙂

Thank you for sharing your adventures. I love the old buildingw with the brick streets. I am an artist and composer. Some of my music which is available on-line has been sold in Sweden (Church music).

I am so pleased you liked the share. May you continue to find joy in composing.
What lovely artwork! Drawing aside the curtain to let the day in. Quite apt for a place where the sun shines all night – you’ve got to choose your day 🤣.
Thought provoking re costumes….
Sweden seems to be a wonderful place about which I know virtually nothing.
Yes, there is much to see but Roy and I are now getting really tired. We will either take things more slowly or head home.
What an interesting idea and question Sandy😀 Do we out on a costume?
Perhaps I do.
Yes, it is interesting. I guess happiness is involved with how we answer it.
