God is talking: ” The word is very close to you, in your mouth, in your heart, so you may do it. See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil; in that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in His ways and keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgements, that thou mayest live…”

The silence was pleasant as the sun came out. Walking is level and easy right near to the ice.
Of course, there is no real silence. There is always the sound of water on the move, and this glacier seemed to be feeding more waterfalls. The scraping of the ice and melting of the glacier carry silt and small particles of stones hence this beautiful bluegreen of the water.

Next to the same ship we looked at from the top now in the valley.
Any road followed precisely to its end leads precisely nowhere. Climb the mountain just a little bit to test it’s a mountain. From the top you can not see the mountain.
Frank Herbert
Remember when life’s road is steep to keep your mind even.

Oh, my ways are strange ways and new ways and old ways, and deep ways and steep ways and high ways and low, I’m at home and at ease on a track that I know not, ( if I’m with Roy) and restless and lost on a road that I know. (Not true for me , I love home, the place I know well!)
