Raindrops on daffidols, trees, and birds.

God speaking: “My children do not forget my law, let your heart keep my commandments and don’t lose mercy with truth keep them like a neckles and also written on your heart. This will give you peace.”

Lots of heart work here. Emotions play a part.

Proverbs 3: 1-3 (Sandy’s understanding. Read it for yourself. Solomon says some wise things but gets a lot wrong.)

Daffidols opening at the end of February after a white covering of frost early this morning and lots of rain this afternoon.

Fully open and dripping wet.

Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby.

Nature, all dripping wet. Road, trees, and parakeets.

Escapees !
Parakeets, once living in cages and learning to speak!
Now flying free,
totally naturalised.
Thanks to winter’s warmer weather.
Parakeets now looking for a roost in the wounded tree that dropped a branch unexpectedly in a summer past.

Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet.

We just got wet! Ha!Ha!

Have a restful weekend.

  1. Your opening daffodils’ photos are lovely. 💛 You should paint the fully opened one with the raindrops. 🙂 LOVED the parakeets video, how wonderful to see and hear them on their journey!

    1. Thank you for liking the photos.OK, painting water droplets now how to do that?🥲. Ah, I will try tomorrow. Just did a walk in the Chilterns with heavy muddy boots. Those parakeets fuss up in that tree all year round.

  2. Sandy, a lovely celebration of rain – why moan when it is a blessing! Beautiful moving quotes and gorgeous photos of the daffodils; my favourite flower this time of year! 😀
