Peperomia part 2

Moses is talking: “The Lord our God has shown us his glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice out of the fire: we have seen today that God talks to people and He lives.”

A leaf destined to grow large is full of grooves and wrinkles at the start. Now, if one has no patience and wants it smooth offhand like a willow leaf, there is trouble ahead.

A smooth leaf

A smooth green leaf
Painted on red
Red from the Amerilla that had its time between Christmas and New Year.
Red paint used by me on the petals
 then the left over
 the extra squeezed 
 Unused
Used to paint a background.

First I painted the leaves in long streaks of yellow
Smooth
Then dark green
Olive green
Pale green 
Then bright. 

I started full of mixed up worried thoughts but simple green strokes
Smooth strokes
Filled my mind with calm.

It is awe that brings hope and joy.

Be warned smooth can be a backhanded compliment suggesting the person is not very genuine. If a person is smooth they can become oily which is an outright insult.
