Who am I?

Who am I?
I'm Sandy
To Roy I am wife
To my boys I am mother
Who am I?
To my friends I am Sandy
Who is she?
She is where she is
Between places her happiest place
Neither here nor there
She is how she is
Old enough to be glad that the years have past and young enough to still be able to chew her food.
What am I to you
Something?
Nothing?
Person?
Thing?
You decide.
Why am I here?
God knows. I am a child of His.
By Who? I think me, Sandy.🙂
These thoughts were inspired by Dietrich Bonhoeffer's poem Who am I. Press on the title if you want to hear it read.
Beautiful!
Thank you. I know who you are. My friend.
Lovely, Sandy!
Thank you. I was reading this morning and came across the poem read aloud that I had never heard before . It made such an impression that I asked myself the same question. Glad you found it lovely.
