I tried to paint this flower but the words that came to my mind were : “Nothing compares. No nothing compares to…” Our news recently was very sad for many people as Sinead O’connor passed away at a relatively young age. The BBC had her singing this song each time they mentioned her… so it was not surprising it was in my head.

A big thank you. I guess you really need to know some things about me: I only started using my i-phone camera during lock down, my drawing when I was trying to write about my childhood memories, painting is only now in the last few months with some on WP. I really don’t consider myself artistic, except that I am having a lot of fun!!!
