Blues to purple in the garden

You should meditate on the word of God day and night and do what is written in it. It is then that you will prosper and have good success.

Shades of purple include: lavender, plum, violet, fuchsia, magenta, indigo, thistle, orchid.

What is in the jug ? From left to right looking at the big plant matter:

Cardoon flower  (The mother plant out of three plants is the only one to have survived to summer 2023. I took this one off of a heavy flower group.)

Agapanthus ( This is blue with streaks of deeper blue down the petals.)

Bears Breeches (These are growing well with all the rain .We had very few last year.)

Then the little flowers are salvia, lavendar,  chive and verbena.

Indigo sits between blue and purple.

Indigo is a hue of the night sky, a moment in time where the darkness meets the light.

Certainly indigo is a deep midnight blue, mystical and full of wonder.

Indigo is the colour of insight, like the understanding that comes from looking beyond the surface.

These three statements about indigo had unknown next to them. I do appreciate them and wish I knew but they stay:

Cardoon, agapanthus and bears breeches well spaced. I feel it is unusual but it worked for an arrangement.

Today,  Roy is cutting the lawn and the sun is out. So different from when I picked these flowers yesterday. There was hardly any time between showers.
