A Sabbath walk through the fields of Wargrave.

Let the Lord delight you and you delight the Lord; and He will give you what deep down in your heart you desire. Tell Him the path you want to walk, trust Him and He will bring about good .

Psalm 37:4-5 (Sandy’s way of saying it, see for yourself the actual words.)
Paths less walked and grass growing high
Five miles we walked through mid- summer’s gifts carefully wrapped.
Grass seeds for the land.

I believe a leaf of grass is no less than the journey-work of the stars.

Walt Whitman
Woodland shade
a cool space on a hot afternoon 29C.
It was a pleasure for our big group of walkers…

Knowing trees, I understand the meaning of patience. Knowing grass, I can appreciate persistence.

Hal Borland
Planted fields of cereals still in green with yellow where grass has been cut and put away.
The trees are now heavy with deep green leaves in full size and shape. Clouds shaped and reshaped as we walk.

So lovely to be back with our walking group. It is people who make you happy : the smile, the meeting of laughing eyes a sad moment shared.

This is all in our walking group and wherever there is love and respect.

I hope your weekend is restful.

Sandy 🙂
