He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone.
Jesus is talking to us and reminding us that the wrong we see in others is the wrong we know so well in ourselves.

Lucan
Lucan was one of the outstanding figures of the silver Age of Latin literature during the time of Nero. It is said he wrote some poetry that displeased Nero and chose his own untimely end at age 25.

There is life in a stone. Any stone that sits on a beach takes on a memory of that place. You can feel that stones have witnessed so many things.

I love your observations Sandy🎨🏖
Thank you! Glad you do!
What a cool post! I am mesmerized with your photo of the underwater stones, so much to see in that shot!! Love the quote by Andy Goldsworth. My 6 yo grandson presented me with a heart-shaped stone couple days ago, he said he found for me. I love stones, they are like snowflakes, no two alike! 🙂
That will be a treasure to keep a heart shaped stone found for you by your grandson. I love that!!!
I marked the stone with Jaxon’s initial and ’23 for me to remember which one. I have a nice, small collection of heart stones, it was something both my mom and I collected over the years. When she passed and I was going through her things to separate, it was truly a beautiful, heartfelt moment to find hers to add to mine. 🥰
That is a tradition of firm heartfelt love. How special!
I really like that four layered water photo.
Interesting artist/sculptor- a bit eccentric but his stonework is quite amazing.
Yes, I was intrigued by his work. I hadn’t heard about him before. Glad you liked the water photo.
