Jesus is talking to His disciples about His partner the Holy Spirit and this is what Jesus says : ‘When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own ; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.’ In this chapter Jesus also tells them that soon they will not see Him. Sad for them.

Walking passed Greek homes, maybe three blocks of them you come to a long beach front with surprises:

an information board as well as…
The procedure to use the Roman Bath House was as follows:
Use the changing rooms
Exercise in the palaestra
Tepid bath repidarium
The hot bath calderium or sweating room sudatorium
Tepid bath
Cold room ( frigidarium)
All these facilities are in these ruins. They need time and a little immagination to make it all visible.
This excavation is not complete so they are not sure if the entrance is towards the sea or the sanctuary. The sanctuary was for Egyptian gods founded by Herodes Atticus in the Mikro Elos ( Small Marsh) of Brexiza in about 160 AD. These too are still being excavated.

A fascinating walk along the sea when all we expected was a path along the bay.
Have a good Sunday.
