Linear leaves

Lord be a shepherd to us…Who is a god like our God who pardons our sins … the Lord doesn’t discipline forever… He delights in showing mercy. Parts of Micah 7: 14-18

Linear leaves

Linear leaves long and slender

No divisions

The body stays close to the leaf’s midrib and ends at a point.

Day lily leaves. Fresh green and wet.
Red hotpoker leaves pushing through the brown torn leaves that have kept them warm all winter.
A small tulip bud coming through.
Chive leaves on the left.
The forty white tulip bulbs that have defied the squirrels are up.
A natural pattern.
It is hard to know which are the new ones and which are the ones that have been there for a long time.
It should be plain to see when they bloom.

Here are some leaf jokes:

How was the struggling leaf able to get the job he interviewed for?

It turns out, he had the right qua-leaf -ications !

What is a cup of tea made with old tea leaves called?

Maturi – tea!

What happens when a tree falls in mud?

It leafs an impression.

Three iris leaves all joined at their base and at the back
with three day lily leaves on the left. Then three stalks of bottle brush and on the right three daffidol leaves with one wide tulip leaf.
All on a box to say :
‘ We’re taking ‘leaf’ of absence.’

We will be travelling soon so until then I won’t be posting for a bit. I will enjoy your posts and post again from where ? I am not sure. We again have no planned route.
