Daisies / Perinnis

The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

Numbers 6: 24-26

Poetry is when emotion has found its thought and thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1874-1963 He published first in England then America.)

Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance.

Carl Sandburg (1878-1967 American poet, biographer, journalist and editor.)

Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks.

Plutarch (Greek philosopher, historian, biographer and essayist and priest at the Temple of Appollo in Delphi.)

I love poetry but the like button is a difficult one to press.

I either

don’t understand or misunderstand

or understand parts and not the whole,

then make it up!

So early this morning I said good bye to four lovely poets.

SORRY

my loss not yours.

Sandy 🙂
