A jug or bowl of formal flowers

The things of God we don’t know about but the Spirit of God does because it searches all things, even the deep things of God. 1Corinthians 2:11,10

And then Jesus promise to His followers was, ” When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth…” John 16 : 13,14

“Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.” Matthew 5: 5

The Bible
Formal flowers.
One stem of two lilies and seven roses.
All in a bright blue metal jug with a smiling orange cat face.
The formal and the informal a contrast in style.
The orange on the blue a contrast of hue.

” It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.”
Charles Dickens

May I use the word a juxtaposition or not?

Here is a definition of juxtaposition : the fact of two things being seen close together with contrasting effect.

The same flowers in a glass punch bowl first in colour and then…
…black and white.

You can listen to Last Train Home if you like. Metheny once said this about playing this tune:

One thing that is interesting about the tune of Last Train Home, from my perspective, is that it probably is one of the hardest tunes in our book to improvise on – and in that particular case, it is not an easy thing to do night after night.”

This post developed slowly ever since my son gave me these flowers on Valintines day. Thank you for looking at this post. I hope you have a good day whenever you read this.

Sandy 🙂

  1. What gorgeous flowers. Love the way you arranged them in the punch bowl. That music sounds just like a train trip😁
