Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts … Be thankful.
Colossians 3 : 15

No fight !
After summer’s long hot days
sculptured on the ground in snow. Leaves of architectural strength and
height
only reach for summer sun and shade.
The whole form lies very low.
Prickly
glistening in the cold
December light

Needle leaves of silver grey poke out through glistening white of snow.
Saying “No!” with straight faced posture a sparkle in its eye.
A considered response to the bright blue of a respectful day.

“Tundra Swan” I wish.
Will she ever take flight?
I wish! š¤£š¤£š¤£
The topdog may win the game of force. But not the moral issue – and when that dawns upon him and his allies, change of consciousness sets in, and demoralization starts thawing the frozen heart. The game is over.
John Malone born 1930 ( He is a Norwegian sociologist who is the principal founder of the discipline of Peace and Conflict Studies. He was the main founder of the Peace Research Institute Oslo.)
Here is a Mini Theory of Peace according to Johan Galtung.
“The basic point is that peace is a relation, between two or more parties. The parties may be
inside a person,
a state or nation ,
a region or civilization,
pulling in different directions .
Peace is not a property of one party alone, but a property of the relation between parties.”
May peace be part of our Festive time and as Edna O’ Brien says ” In a way , Winter is the real Spring – the time when inner things happen, the resurgence of nature.”
