Jesus is talking about himself and God and this is my understanding about what Jesus is saying. All the people who the Father (God) has given to me (Jesus) will come to me and I (Jesus) will not throw (cast) them out. (There is no force only a daily choice to be governed by the Holy Spirit and His words from The Bible.)

He completed 4 voyages across the Atlantic Ocean which
opened the way for widespread colonisation.
He stands alone.
A man self educated who read what he was interested in, came to his own conclusions sometimes wrong but followed his understanding.
He says : “For the execution of the voyage to the Indies, I did not make use of intelligence, mathematics or maps.”
He was 14 years old when he went to sea and ended up having his expeditions sponsored by the Catholic Monarchs of Spain.
