Submit to God and be at peace with Him; in this way prosperity will come to you.
Job 22:21
Peace does not dwell in outward things, but within the soul. Francois Fenelon.(1651-1715 French Catholic Archbishop )
We sat at the edge of Bondensee.
The mist lifted and the sun came with a swan.
A swan so unaware of our existance that it preened itself from front to back
in front of our very eyes.
A swan enjoying the warmth
as we were too.
A swan pulling out its loose fluffy feathers.
A gorgeous sight!
This morning really early, according to the rules of the campsite, I had to run with Bess to make sure she did her ablutions (wee and poo) outside the gate. No one had told the swan not to leave an enormous one at my door.
Thank you for seeing these two swans as I experienced them this morning. They loved being photographed. We are just ‘being’ for a while…
Sandy 🙂
It is good to just “be” sometimes indeed. Hope you have a good sunny warm day🙏🏻
Beautiful swan, not such good etiquette to leave a parcel for you😜
Thank you, yes!!! I couldn’t blame the fox with all those greens.
Enjoy just being. It’s good for one. Necessary too. Love your swan poem and pics.
Ah, that is so kind of you. Sometimes it is good to see things differently/ a little….
These are great photos of such lovely birds. I was able to swim with some while in Switzerland and they really are such graceful birds.
They are characterful. Sophisticated and earthy.
