O Lord , thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and my uprising
Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? or
Whither shall I flee from thy presence?
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knows well.
Search me , O God , and know my heart: try me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 139 : 1,2, 7, 14, 23 (this psalm was sung by the Choir of Westminister Abbey and the choir of His Majesty Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace in the service of lying in state.)

I need to say I took these last two photographs with my phone camera from the TV news bulletin . A memory of today.
Here are some things said by our late Queen:
We all need to get the balance between action and reflection. With so many distractions, it is easy to forget to pause and take stock.( said during her 2013 Christmas broadcast)
Even when your life seems most monotonous , what you do is always of real value and importance to your fellow men.(said during her 1954 Christmas broadcast)
Grief is the price we pay for love.( following attacks on September 11, 2001)
Thank you for sharing these moments.
Sandy
She was a wonderful woman. I will be “attending” the funeral on Monday.
