Stage 1 Travelling through France to Spain

A soft/kind answer turns away wrath/anger : but hurtful words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise uses knowledge in the right way: but the mouth of fools pours out foolishness. The eyes of the Lord are in every place looking at the evil and the good.

The journey across the English Channel was calm. In this video you can see the gentle movement of the ship with the horizon dipping and rising above the guard rail.

France was blue , yellow and green today.

We drove through field after field of these flowers whose seeds are used for canola oil. This oil has a delicate but pleasant taste so it can be used on salads for frying and baking. It has the lowest level of saturated fat of all oils.

Truth will rise above falsehood as oil above water.

Here in the late afternoon are the banks of the river Loire so different from autumn now in spring colours. Tomorrow is another day.
